Kits for Clinical Studies

Kits assemblage and shipment

We manufacture biological sample kits of all levels of complexity and all phases of clinical studies that fit your needs.

Once we have all the material in our facilities, the assembly of the kits is organized to meet the test times. It is possible to distance the time in which the kits are prepared to be sent depending on the expiration dates.

This phase includes the registration of the material in Savio which will then be sent to each center, and the activation of alarms to replace any component beforehand in the kits that may expire before being used during the test.

KIT PRODUCTION SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Purchase of all components and inventory management.
  • Assembly of kits according to customer specifications.
  • Production capacity of up to 100,000 kits per month.
  • Kits distribution to research sites or regional clinical supply centers and to any destination worldwide.
  • Storage and control of kits created by central laboratories at Polar Expres facilities and delivery to research sites.

PERSONALIZED LABELING

The labels are designed under the client´s requirements for both the kits and for each type of tube or element. The color difference is common for samples classified as “primary” and “back up”, so you are able to differentiate between these two types of tubes with a single glance.

The material that makes up the labels is conditioned specially for the temperature at which the primary tubes or containers will be maintained.

There are materials that guarantee its complete integrity for refrigerated temperatures, these always imply a high degree of humidity; other types of labels remain intact reaching -80 ̊C (dry ice) or even -196 ̊C (liquid nitrogen).

Do not forget to indicate the temperature conditions when ordering the labels.

KITS ASSEMBLAGE

Once we have all the material in our facilities, the assemblage of the kits is organized to meet the test times. It is possible to distance the moments in which the kits are prepared to be sent according to the expiration dates.

This phase includes the registration of the material to be sent to each center in Savio and the activation of alarms to replace any component in the kits that might expire before being used during the test.

DISTRIBUTION OF INITIAL MATERIAL

The last step of this phase is the distribution of the kits to the centers where the samples are subsequently extracted. Shipments can be made staggered depending on the patient recruitment or depending on the country in which the center is located.
